UA Pilot License (UAPL) Training

UAPL Helicopter Course

Class A (Rotorcraft) Training Courses for UAPL

COURSES DETAILS

Course Information

This 18-day advanced course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and practical competencies to prepare for the CAAS UAPL Theory Test and UAPL Practical Assessment, leading to the attainment of a Class A (Rotorcraft) UAPL with no limitation.

Participants will also receive complimentary UA Basic Training (online learning) to acquire fundamental UAS knowledge and complete indoor flight simulation training.

This course is intended for experienced multi-rotor UA pilots who are proficient in manual flight (e.g. Acro/3D mode). It is not suitable for beginners or participants with no prior manual multi-rotor flying experience, as the course focuses on preparing candidates for the CAAS UAPL Helicopter practical assessment rather than providing basic flight training.

This course is suitable for:

  • UA pilots whose existing Class A (Rotorcraft) UAPL is limited to multi-rotor operations and who wish to remove the multi-rotor limitation;
  • Experienced multi-rotor UA pilots seeking to obtain a Class A (Rotorcraft) UAPL with no limitation.

Learning Outcomes

  • Competent in the UAPL theory test and practical assessment
  • UABT Certificate
  • Certificate of Participation
  • Class A (Rotorcraft) UAPL with no limitation

Theory Module

The 1-day theory training comprises of the following 6 modules below:

  • Module 1: General UAS Knowledge
  • Module 2: Principles of Flight and Simulation
  • Module 3: Air Law
  • Module 4: Navigation and Meteorology

Mock Quiz

Developed in-house by our team, the mock quiz system provides access to a comprehensive bank of more than 300 multiple-choice practice questions to help learners prepare for the actual CAAS UAPL Theory Test.

Complimentary UA Basic Training (UABT)

Participants will receive complimentary access to the UA Basic Training (UABT) through our online learning platform.

The UABT is a separate training component from the UAPL Theory Course and provides participants with foundational knowledge of unmanned aircraft systems and safe UA operations.

Upon successful completion of the UABT requirements, participants will receive a UABT Certificate.
