Course Description

This 7-days course will prepare the participant for the practical assessment to attain the Class A (Rotorcraft) UAPL limited to multi-rotor up to 7 kg.

This course is suitable for UA pilots who wish to obtain Class A (Rotorcraft) UAPL limited to multi-rotor up to 7kg that do not wish to take theory lessons.

Practical

The 7-days practical training comprises of the following 13 modules below

2 UAS Safety Assessment
3 Precision Hovering in GPS and Non-GPS Mode
4 Straight and Level Circuit
5 Precision Hovering in 4 Different Orientation
6 Straight and Level Circuit with Nose Following Direction of Movement
7 Ascending and Descending Circuit
8 Figure of 8
9 Precision Landing
10 Mission Planning and Execution
11 Emergency Procedure
12 UAS Knowledge and Skills Demonstration
13 Flight Awareness

 


 

Assessment

The practical assessment will only be conducted once the participant have passed the UAPL theory test

Module Licence
UAPL Practical Assessment Class A (Rotorcraft) UAPL limited to multi-rotor up to 7kg only

 

The following are required on the practical assessment date:

  • Original photo identification (i.e. original NRIC/FIN/Passport)
  • Original UAPL (If Any)

Failure to produce any of the above documents on your practical assessment date will not be entertained and will be re-scheduled.
